Christian Bauer is CEO of the art production company Artesian GmbH and a senior project manager of Artevent GmbH, both part of the André Heller company group, based in Vienna, Austria. Christian Bauer is also CEO of Atlans GmbH, the planning company for the Atlans Project in Lans, Austria.

Christian Bauer is a leading consultant for cultural projects and a pioneer and early entrepreneur for 3D technologies like 3D Online Communities, Virtual Reality and Web3D / VRML (Virtual Reality Modeling Language) and in earlier day a GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and CAD (Computer Aided Design) expert.

Current projects:

• Several undisclosed projects are in preparation in the Middle East and China.
• Project management for "Crystal Sky", a new and groundbraking mobile attraction in development for Swarovski. To be presented on the 1.5.2010 at the World Exposition in Shanghai.
• Project management for "Atlans", the transformation of the Lanser See, today a pure bathing facility - into a place of recreation and spirituality (while staying open for bathing guests) for the Tyrolean Rhomberg Family. See http://www.atlans.at
• Several undisclosed projects for artist André Heller.
• Development of the Sudanese Telecenters Proposal with some friends - an educational initiative in Khartoum, Sudan.
• An undisclosed humanitarian project in Khartoum.
• Continued work on "Media Rooms" with the current topic "Ars Ecclesia" (turning churches into media rooms), following "Architecture and Poetry" and "Liquid Architecture" on the University of Innsbruck: See pictures in the Gallery section.
• New lecture on Project Management on the renowned business school Management Center Innsbruck (MCI) in fall 2008.

Recent success stories:

• 2007: Project management planning and building the extension of Crystal Worlds for Swarovski. Reopening on the 30th of November successfully resulted in a substantial increase of visitors and sales of the already most visited Tyrolean attraction.
• 2007: Development of new strategic concepts for Artevent GMBH which are coming in 2008 into realisation-phase.
• 2006: Project Poetry-Automat following an idea of Hans Magnus Enzensberger: 850.000 generated and distributed poems in just 8 weeks of operation and repeated features on prime time German TV.
• 2005-2006: Planning, construction and tour management for the Football Globe Germany - 2006 FIFA World Cup™: 620.000 visitors, 1.8 million website hits, 12.100 recorded dances (video-clips) in 89 exhibition days in Japan, France, Italy and Switzerland.
• 2003-2006: Fussball Globus - FIFA WM 2006™: Over 1.000.000 visitors during the 12 World Cup Host Cities visit in 3 years of travel over a distance of 5.000 km.
